A mysterious Ninja who is seen as a creepy loner by many of the village's Genin, he is in Kurenai's Team 8 with Hinata and Shikamaru. Shino is constantly accompanied by "Destruction Bugs;" These bugs live within and around his body and render themselves as Shino's tools in exchange for the food he provides them, his own Chakra. As a member of the bug using Aburame clan of the Leaf, at birth his body was offered to these insects to use as a nest and to feed of his chakra. It is because of this a contract is formed that allows the clan to freely control the insects and use them as their primary fighting technique. The insects can be used strategically for offensive and defensive attacks, and they even have the ability of sewing up newly made open wounds, which means that Shino can even repair his body during battle, without need for any outside help.

Technically of the Genin level, he is a Sound ninja acting as a Leaf ninja to spy on Sasuke along with Kabuto. It is unknown how powerful he is, although he can use a powerful technique that can absorb an enemy's Chakra, which he, presumably, follows up with taijutsu. Able to absorb chakra, Yoroi can suck out his opponents physical and spiritual energy just by touching them with the palm of his hand. This ability means Yoroi is best suited for close-range combat.

Akamaru is Kiba's Nin-dog, often to be found perched upon his head or in his jacket. Akamaru's heightened senses, such as smell and hearing, along with Kiba's power to communicate with him, make him a powerful tool for gathering and sharing information; he can also sense high amounts of chakra so he can warn Kiba of a powerful enemy, and even alert his master of how close s/he is. Akamaru and Kiba almost always attack together, using power combined ninjutsu and taijutsu to great effect against the enemy. Akamaru's powers can also be boosted by the swallowing of a Soldier Pill

Akane is a bully from the Country of Wave that steals Inari's pet dog, Pochi. Akane teases Inari before finally throwing Pochi into the sea and forcing Inari to follow. Unfortunately, Inari cannot swim, which is what drew Kaiza to save him while Pochi, who Akane renamed "Shooting Star", swam to safety. When Inari regains consciousness, Kaiza says that he has given Akane a good talking to.

A Genin level ninja, he is in Asuma's Team 10. Capable of using a Jutsu unique to the Akimichi Clan, Choji can increase the size of one part or even all of his body, although it uses up a high amount of calories. This multi-size technique can also be combined with another unique Jutsu, Meat Tank, which involves Choji rolling up into a large ball shape and rolling towards his opponent with furious speed and even allowing him to bounce into the air. Choji has also adapted the function of this technique by combining it with lengths of rope that he wraps round his body. Hanging on these ropes are many kunais, which turn Choji into a spiked ball - increasing his speed (through traction) and his destructive force. He also carries with him the unique secret weapon of the Akimichi clan, a box containing three coloured pills. Each of these increases Choji's strength and stamina by many-fold, but with extreme and painful side-effects. The first two pills (blue, then yellow) increase Choji's strength a great deal, but the last (the red) makes him well over 100 times more powerful than normal. The red pill makes Chakra appear all round him, and his actual body changes shape, becoming far more muscular. Sensitive about his weight, it may be dangerous to insult him about his size.

Choji's father. A strong, or at least large, member of the Akimichi Clan. Like his son, he uses the Multi-size skill, but to a much more powerful level. He can increase the size of his body even to the size of a large building with seeming ease. He helps fight the invading Sound and Sand Ninjas along with his comrades, Shikato and Inoshi. He also seems to be somewhat of a role model to his son.

Ami is a young girl that attended the same Ninja Academy as Sakura and Ino when they were young. During one of the lessons, where the girls were being taught about flower-arranging, she bullies Sakura. However, Ino, who was picking flowers with Sakura, defends Sakura and throws a bunch of, what she tells Ami are, poisonous flowers in her mouth, telling her that she mistook her mouth for a vase.

A Jounin. Apparently quite talented, he was present at the Urgent Meeting the 3rd Hokage called regarding Orochimaru. He was also amoung the five Jounin left at the Leaf Village Fight Stadium after the Sand and Sound Ninjas were killed, with Kakashi, Gai, Kurenai and another Ninja.
