A Jounin level Ninja, he is the leader of Team 10, including Nara Shikamaru, Akimichi Choji, and Yamanaka Ino. Not much is known about Asuma, only that he seems very laid back and is always smoking a cigarette whenever he is seen. He also seems to be related to the 3rd Hokage, and is a talented Jounin.

An adult Genin level Ninja, he confronts Gaara in the Forest of Death with his team-mates. He carries a collection of six large umbrellas on his back which he uses in a very interesting Jutsu called "Raining Needles," where he throws the umbrella into the air and has a rain of needles, which can pierce 5mm thick steel, come down on his opponent. Although this Jutsu orignally seemed effective, all of the needles were blocked by Gaara's Shield of Sand. This Ninja is killed with Gaara's Desert Coffin/Desert Graveyard combination along with his team-mates.

The Shinobi that is sent from Cloud Village to kidnap Hinata of the Hyuga Clan to steal the secrets of the Main House's secret Jutsu. However, he is found and killed by Hinata's father. But because of a recently signed treaty between the Leaf and Cloud, the loss of a cloud Ninja must be justified by the sacrifice of a Leaf Ninja: Hinata's father, Hiashi. However, Hiashi had a twin brother of the Branch House who was given to the Cloud instead.

A posh-looking lady, she is the wife of the Fire Countries Lord. She hires Kakashi, Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura to help find her lost cat, Tora. After she gets back her cat, she pays the Ninjas for their services.
